Both leaders in their fields, Shamir has teamed up with the Formula One Alpine F1 Team in the inaugural vision partnership for Formula One racing. The three-year optical performance partnership will see Shamir and Alpine F1 Team engineers working on new technologies…such as colored visors, reduced-glare goggles, and anti-fog lenses for pit crew helmets.

SYNGERISTIC VALUES
The U.S. announcement was made during an Alpine Virtual Garage Tour in Austin, TX, just before the Grand Prix Formula One race took place there. Speaking at the event, Phil Pasit, director of marketing at Shamir, referred to the values shared by Shamir and Alpine as “very synergistic. Our Glacier PLUS Metaform lenses meet the specifications Alpine 1 is looking for.”
Talking about the importance of the partnership, Luca Mazzocco, head of technological partnerships for the Alpine F1 Team, told guests at the Virtual Garage Tour, “Shamir is a welcome addition to the family of our technical partners. They become an extension of our engineering platform.”
GROUNDBREAKING TECHNOLOGIES
As a technical partner, Shamir’s logo will appear on Alpine F1 Team equipment, such as mechanics’ helmets and even garage doors. Wearers at their facilities will benefit from the groundbreaking technologies in Glacier PLUS Metaform lenses. And, beginning Dec. 1, your patients will be able to as well.
