Core Values
What does your practice stand for? Have you ever sat down and written it out, hopefully as a group? And have you shared those values with the entire staff?
Shamir has devoted an immense amount of time and effort to establishing its own set of core values and the pillars upon which the company is based.

Reading them below will give you a much better idea of what the company stands for and why it is a great business partner. It will also hopefully provide a good example to help create and communicate your practice’s own set of core values.
Here’s some of what it shares about the importance of its relationship with you and how it strives to be the best partner there is for your practice through its pillars for success.
A Driving Force
At the base of everything it does is you, its eyecare professional partner. As for the company’s own values, it says, “Our values, the driving force behind our ideas and actions, keep the ECP in the center.” That’s why, in terms of positioning, Shamir views itself as “your partner for success.”
It also communicates its goals clearly and concisely…something you could work on at your own practice in cooperation with your management team or department heads. “Our goal,” states Shamir, “is to challenge the status quo and be first to market, bringing revolutionary products and services with features never before seen.” A lofty goal, indeed!
Four Pillars
As for its pillars, they are:
• A passion for innovation. “We delight in challenging the status quo and being first to market, bringing you revolutionary products and services.”
• The belief that service is beautiful. “We strive to listen to you carefully and understand your aspirations so we can better serve the needs of your growing business.”
• The importance of being the best, but never resting. “Superior quality products mean fewer errors, complaints, and non-adapts. We never stop learning and improving, so we can make our best even better for you.”
• Remaining agile is imperative. “Agility means responding fast to market changes while being flexible to address your needs as they evolve.”
