It was just a year ago (Feb. 1, 2022) that Shamir proudly announced the launch of its all-new antireflective coating, Glacier Expression™. RELYING ON FACIAL COMMUNICATIONS

We inherently use our whole body when communicating face to face. For example, we interpret the body language and posture of others, speak with our hands, and use expressive facial movements.

Using a system of complex and sometimes subtle visual cues, we use our entire face to convey meaning. Shamir recognized this and how important it has become given the explosion in digital communications. Why? Because communicating digitally has shifted away from the traditional whole-body approach in communications to one that focuses and relies on the onscreen view of the face, and especially the eyes.

How does Shamir Glacier Expression coating enhance that view and create more comfortable vision? It does this by lowering visual noise and increasing the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio). That ratio is what indicates how clearly someone can see versus the visual noise around them.
