Shamir does this by dynamically positioning near viewing zones on lens corridors that optimize vertical head and eye motion as well as ensure maximum viewing comfort in these zones.
The technology positions the near vision zone higher for a minus Rx and lower in a plus one. This minimizes the need to tilt one’s head forward or back or raise and lower a book in an attempt to bring the text into focus. Any postural discomfort while reading is thereby minimized, ensuring the patient enjoys a natural, comfortable posture.

When discussing the benefits with patients, it’s good to mention how this technology will enhance postural comfort both when reading and viewing nearby objects and how there is less need to raise or lower items or tilt one’s head up or down.
